Silent Hill: Townfall is out on September 24, 2026 on PS5, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. The date closed a new trailer at Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026, with Konami, developer Screen Burn, Annapurna Interactive, and an Unreal Engine badge on the card.
The trailer leans on its cast. Emmy winner Terry O’Quinn (Lost, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live) plays a bald, grey-bearded man in a dark suit who sits hunched in an empty building, and Kezia Burrows (Observation) is credited alongside him. The protagonist, named Simon on the Deluxe Edition card, is a young Black man in a red gilet and beanie who is seen on a payphone, walking into fog beside a rusting car, and peering at a handheld television. A wall reads “save yourself”; a town monument is plastered with signs reading “a crime on our community”, “we need justice”, and “this town is ours”.
The dialogue that came through on the stream fits the Townfall pitch of a town with something to answer for: “you said we could put things right”, “this town would listen to me”, “it’s the right thing to do here, not just for them”, and “I have to leave”.
A digital-only Deluxe Edition was also shown, bundling the game with a digital artbook, digital soundtrack, an alternate outfit for Simon, two “CRTV” styles for the handheld television (Rusted, and a Beach edition marked as PlayStation only), and 48-hour early access as pre-purchase content.
