Perceptum, a first-person horror game with an older woman as its lead, was announced during the Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 pre-show for Spring 2027 on Steam, the Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5.

The trailer stayed inside a dim, cluttered house: a compact mirror held up to reveal the protagonist’s face, a single chair under a bare bulb in a room whose walls are scrawled with “hate them”, boxes and a ladder in a dark basement, and a figure glimpsed in the red-lit shadows. The title card cracked like glass over a close-up of an eye.

Pre-show host Kyle Bosman summed up the premise as a grandmother who will not put up with ghosts. No developer or publisher name was legible on the card, and no price was given.
