Sega’s Crazy Taxi revival has a name and a year: Crazy Taxi World Tour is “hitting the streets” in 2027, according to the card that closed its Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 trailer, with Xbox, Steam, PS5, and Nintendo Switch 2 logos and a wishlist prompt.

The trailer is the series in a sentence: a battered yellow cab sliding sideways through a hillside city of palms, trams, and a red suspension bridge, launching off ramps, threading between buses and a tanker, and skidding into a fare’s arms. The passengers are the point: a bandana-wearing regular in a blue hoodie spreads his arms outside a burger joint, a slicked-back driver in a green jacket grins from behind the wheel, and cheering crowds line the pick-up points. Text cards build the pitch: “more” (over a cab in a rush of neon), “more fun”, and “together!”, which suggests multiplayer or co-op is part of the package.

No price or more precise date was given, and the card did not name the developer.
