Pearl Abyss brought Crimson Desert back to Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 with a trailer for Crimson Desert Enhanced, an update the closing card says is available now, with the game 20 percent off to mark it.
According to the card, Enhanced adds new story moments, expanded voice-over (the flags shown were German, French, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Japanese), Arabic subtitles and interface, and rolls in all post-launch content to date. Host Geoff Keighley said the game released nearly six months ago and that the developers “just keep adding more and more content, including new cutscenes and story moments too”.
The trailer mixed a battle line at dawn, a crowned figure looming over a soldier, a bear-masked warrior, a rider thrown from a horse in a desert village, a dragon strafing a fortress wall, and gunners firing from a rampart at night. Platforms on the card were PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, the Mac App Store, and the Epic Games Store.
