Tank Rat teased with a short, wordless trailer of armoured buggies and junkyard robots

A sub-30-second teaser in the ONL pre-show showed vehicle combat in a wasteland and a scrappy robot cast; no date, platforms, or developer were legible.

Tank Rat got a short, wordless teaser during the Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 pre-show. The clip ran under half a minute and ended on a glitching red title card.

The footage showed a sun-bleached wasteland and a coastal night scene, an armoured, open-topped buggy with a turret trading fire and taking a hit, a scrappy robot with a hydrant-like body, a row of battered robot heads in a workshop, a control room lined with monitors, and a hand reaching for a small perforated ball. The framing suggests a vehicle combat game with a junkyard-robot cast, but the teaser did not explain the premise.

The platform icons at the bottom of the card were too faint to read on the stream, and no date, developer, or publisher was shown. Host Kyle Bosman did not comment on it, so this is a name to watch for once the trailer is uploaded.
