Lofsöng, introduced on the Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 stage by its developer, Alessandro, is an art-driven exploration and puzzle game that can be wishlisted now on Steam, with Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC also on the card. No release date was given. Host Geoff Keighley called it “a beautiful and artistic game made right here in Europe”.
The narration set it up as a game about what we leave behind and for whom: you “uncover traces of memory left in stone and sound, building a bridge between what was and what may still come”. The trailer is almost entirely black, white, and grey, with one splash of colour: a small figure in a red suit and a round white helmet who wanders vast, empty, brutalist landscapes of dunes and slabs, picks up dark spheres that split open to reveal etched patterns, and stands at the centre of enormous concentric rings that ripple outward like sound.
The Steam listing describes it as an exploration puzzle adventure set across brutalist landscapes shaped by deep time. No price was shown.
