No Law, the open-world first-person RPG set in the “cybergrunge” city of Port Desire, got a new look at Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 and a window: the closing card reads “coming 2027”, with Krafton’s logo alongside the developer’s and an Intel badge. Host Geoff Keighley described it as an immersive open-world FPS RPG and said it was “finally time” to show it again.
The footage, marked “everything captured in-engine”, is rain, neon, and grime: a tangle of stacked apartments and noodle bars under yellow smog, armoured cops in pink-visored helmets, a hooded fixer with a bald mercenary on a rooftop, a strip-lit club, a drone hovering over a market, and a food truck parked in a sunlit slum. The player character is a contract operator the city calls the Gardener, and the trailer’s dialogue is other people talking about him: “you hear about this gardener guy going after the mayors? The city won’t shut up about him”, “nobody sees him go in, nobody sees him come out”, “he’s a ghost”, and, from an employer, “the stories about how you operate, Gardener, are they all true?”
The playstyle labels flash over the action, Bulldozer, Pacifist, Tactician, Artist, as the first-person footage cycles through a revolver, an SMG, a hacked vending machine, a sculpture gallery, a garage full of mechanics, a bloody corridor fight, and a mustachioed target frozen at his desk. A wireframe overlay suggests a scanning or planning mode.
