Atari announced RollerCoaster Tycoon Wonderworks during the Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 pre-show. It is coming soon to Steam Early Access, with developer Springloaded on the credits card.
After an Atari-branded cinematic opening of a family walking into a park, the trailer settled into isometric, retro-styled management footage much closer to the original RollerCoaster Tycoon than to the 3D entries. The footage showed a burger stand’s settings, pricing, staffing, and performance charts, a map screen with an advisor handing you a park to learn the ropes, and coasters winding through small plots.
The narration pitched it as turning “mundane patches of dirt into unforgettable thrills”, customizing every setting, hiking up every price, and charming a new generation of guests while keeping the park in shape.
No Early Access date, price, or platforms beyond Steam were given.
