Cinder, a tactical shooter from NCSoft and Big Fire Games, was announced at Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 with a “wishlist now” card for Steam. No date was given.

The trailer is built as a survivor’s typed confession, bloody hands on the keys of a manual typewriter, with the story spelled out in captions. “I still remember the air of that day.” An unknown vessel “tore through space and time, swallowing the sky whole” above a city that is unmistakably Istanbul, a vast dark ring hanging over the Hagia Sophia. “Three Apostles crossed through time and warned of a despairing future to come”, but their warning “was corrupted by the greed of a corporate giant, Anima Group”. “Just as they foretold, Archdemon Buer descended, bringing the Black Matter in its wake”, and “a cruel countdown began ticking in every vein, and I was no exception.”

Between the captions: a patient wired to a surgical rig, a hangar of armoured vehicles, a red-lit room papered with photographs of a corpse, a many-legged demon curled in flame, and soldiers in night-vision gear clearing an apartment (“front clear, left, right, secured, clear”, “interior secured, no remaining threats”). The final question, over a wall of pinned photos and red string: “does salvation still remain for us?”

The key art shows a bearded operator in a black tactical suit with a rifle. No platforms beyond Steam were listed, and no price was given.
