Rayman Legends Retold launches on October 1, 2026. Ubisoft’s remake of the 2013 platformer closed its Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 trailer with the date, timed to Rayman’s 30th anniversary year.
Host Geoff Keighley’s rundown: Retold rebuilds the original with 3D visuals, adds new story content and an all-new sixth realm, and gives it fully voiced cinematics. Rayman and friends set out to restore peace to the Glade of Realms, and there are four all-new musical stages, one of them set to MC Hammer’s “U Can’t Touch This”.
Tonight’s exclusive was a first look at another musical stage, and it is themed around Italian food: Rayman runs along strands of spaghetti and across checkered tablecloths, dodges giant meatballs, tomatoes, and a grinning pizza-box contraption, and bounces off watermelons in a confetti-filled carnival arena where a hulking, crown-wearing brute swings a giant club. A snowbound level with ice pipes and sausage platforms also flashed by.
The card showed only the date; platforms were not listed on stage.
