Ananta, NetEase’s free-to-play open-world RPG, has a global release date of January 15, 2027, on PS5, Windows, the App Store, and Google Play, according to the card that closed its Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 trailer. Host Geoff Keighley noted the game was first revealed on the same stage three years ago.

The trailer is a long, comedic tour of the game’s anime-styled city: a motorbike chase down a purple-tiled roof, a skateboarder weaving through a truck spilling bamboo baskets, an open-top bus, a kid in a fox hoodie leaping off a ledge, a martial-arts sparring match under maples, terraced tea fields, and a school choir in matching overalls. A running gag has a character insisting on being called “Deep Master” while the rest of the cast walks off. The final shot drifts over a night skyline with a pink-lit tower that resembles Shanghai’s Oriental Pearl.

The card lists the game as free to play. No console beyond PS5 was shown, and there was no mention of pre-registration on stage.
