Tides of Annihilation, the fantasy action game from Chinese studio Eclipse Glow Games, got a new trailer at Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 that introduces a new voice for its lead. Host Geoff Keighley said Gwendolyn is now voiced by Angela Sant’Albano, who recently played Grace Ashcroft in Resident Evil Requiem. The closing card listed PS5, PS5 Pro, Steam, the Epic Games Store, and Xbox Series X|S, with a wishlist prompt and no release date.
Keighley’s setup: the game is set in modern-day London and the mythical Avalon, and Gwendolyn is the lone survivor of an otherworldly invasion who can summon spectral forms of the Knights of the Round Table. The trailer opens with her in a ruined flat, brushing dust from a framed family photo, before a white-haired, blindfolded Guinevere appears with an ornate glaive. “I know not why you possess his powers,” she says, “but if you wish to reclaim London, you must harness the fog. Use it to command your spectral knights.” Gwendolyn’s reply: “Guinevere, teach me.”
The action that follows runs through a fog-choked London skyline dominated by the Eye, a marble palace hall where a red-caped knight fights alongside her, a colossal armoured giant in the clouds, and a many-headed dragon-like beast that Gwendolyn parries with a glowing blade. Ghostly knights and horsemen materialise beside her on command.
