Petit Planet, HoYoverse’s cozy life sim, is coming in winter 2026. The card that closed its Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 trailer read “your planet awaits, coming winter 2026”, with pre-registration open now, a final beta test “coming soon”, and store badges for the App Store, Google Play, Windows, and the Epic Games Store. The copyright line credits Cognosphere, HoYoverse’s publishing arm.

The trailer is a hand-drawn storybook that comes to life: a child in the back of a car opens a book and finds a small green planet inside, then the game’s chibi characters take over. A pink-haired bunny and an orange cat-eared companion greet a sunrise; a dark-haired kid rows a boat across a field of glowing star-flowers, holds up an orange lily, and is handed a gift by a green-clad friend at a lantern-lit night market; a stage show, a costume parade in blue star-print outfits, and fireworks round out a festival sequence.

The final shots are the building side of the game: a customised room with a workbench and sofa, a snow-dusted pagoda garden, a rope bridge across a pond, and a whole terraced planet with hedges, ponds, and a cottage viewed from above.

Co-host Sjokz summed it up on stage with “you gotta have the fuzzy neighbours” and confirmed that players can pre-register on the official website ahead of the final beta.
