Capcom is bringing three Resident Evil remakes to Nintendo Switch 2 on October 16, announced at Nintendo Direct September 2026 under a title card reading “Three Resident Evil Remakes Rise”. The package covers Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition, Resident Evil 3, and Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition, and the end card lists them as digital versions.
The trailer runs through all three in order. It opens on Leon at the Raccoon City police station and Claire nearby, then cuts to Jill with Nemesis looming over her for Resident Evil 3, and finishes on Resident Evil 4 with Leon fighting villagers and Ada Wong in the campaign’s Separate Ways chapter.
Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition ships with its DLC included, according to the narrator, and Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition includes “DLC such as Separate Ways, which depicts the story from another angle”. Resident Evil 3 was presented on its own, with no edition name. The narrator framed the set as a way to “relive the events that came before the latest title, Resident Evil Requiem”.
All three launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on October 16, 2026, and pre-orders open on the Nintendo eShop later today. The segment did not mention pricing or physical releases, and only the digital versions carried the October date on screen.
