Atlus closed its slot at the Nintendo Direct September 2026 with a short Persona 6 teaser, confirming that the next mainline game is coming to Nintendo Switch 2. No date or window appeared on screen.
The teaser is brief. It follows directly on from the Persona 4 Revival date card: a Switch 2 handheld sits on a black background, its screen fills with green static, and the picture cuts to a grainy “P6” emblem before settling on the full Persona 6 logo. The closing card carries the Nintendo Switch 2 badge and the Atlus mark, with no other text.
Nothing from the game itself was shown. There was no gameplay, no characters and no setting, and nobody spoke about it on stage. The host moved straight to the Direct’s final announcement afterwards.
Persona 6 had been revealed for other platforms before this show; the Direct adds Switch 2 to that list. Whether the Switch 2 version launches alongside the others, and when any of them arrive, is still unknown.
