Meccha Chameleon, a multiplayer hide-and-seek game from Lemorion, was shown at Nintendo Direct September 2026 and launches on Nintendo Switch 2 later today.
The trailer shows a round split into two teams. Hiders get a “Hide Time” phase to pick a spot, then open a color-picker panel to paint their white, featureless bodies with colors and patterns that match the surroundings. The last step is striking a pose. Footage shows players flattened against brick walls, standing in as statues beside a horse sculpture, lined up among plush toys on a sofa, and lying among fish on ice in a kitchen.
Seekers then hunt them within a time limit. As the narration puts it: “If all of the Hiders are found within the time limit, the Seekers win. But if even one player stays hidden, then the Hiders are the victors.” The trailer also shows Hiders holding still while a Seeker walks past, and others hiding in plain sight out in the open.
Maps glimpsed include a laundry room, a dining hall, a locker room and a barnyard set. A mode select screen listed a Basic mode alongside others.
The end card listed Nintendo Switch 2 and “Available Later Today”. No price was shown on screen.
