Nintendo gave Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave a short new trailer at Nintendo Direct September 2026, eight days before the game launches on Nintendo Switch 2 on September 17. The date was already known; this was a last look before release.
The trailer is mostly story. It opens on a crowned figure in red and gold robes standing with arms outstretched in a great hall, then cuts to a party fighting a large beast in a haze of purple light, a lance-wielding unit leading the charge. A red-cloaked figure confronts an armored character in a torchlit stone chamber, and a purple-haired character reacts in alarm under a red glow.
The narration sets up the stakes: “Strength and convictions collide at the heroic games, but the demon god’s revival looms. Many of the remains scattered across Dagda should soon find their way here. Guide your heroes into the future and save the doomed world.” The later shots turn to spectacle, with a lone figure on the steps of a dark hall, a golden lance hurled across a blood-red sky, and a giant winged form bursting into flame.
The end card lists Nintendo Switch 2 and the September 17, 2026 date, with a Nintendo and Intelligent Systems copyright. No gameplay menus, maps or pricing appeared in this segment.
