Path of Exile 2 has one more big stage before it leaves early access, and Grinding Gear Games has now put a time on it. ExileCon 2026’s keynote starts on Friday, November 6 at 1pm Pacific, 4pm Eastern, and the studio says it will run about two hours and cover both Path of Exile and Path of Exile 2. With the sequel’s 1.0 launch set for December 11, this is where the launch content gets shown.
Keynote at 1pm Pacific, pre-show at 12:30, two days of talks after it
The details come from a “Two Weeks Until ExileCon 2026” post on the official forum, published Sunday by GGG’s Natalia. The stream opens at 12:30pm Pacific with a pre-show hosted by community streamers ZiggyD, Mathil, RaizQT and DarthMicrotransaction, then the keynote at 1pm. GGG describes it as “about two hours long, covering recent developments for both Path of Exile 1 and Path of Exile 2”, longer than a standard league reveal stream.
After the keynote the event runs across two days with developer talks, live gameplay showcases, interviews and the race finales for both games. A full schedule is promised later this week. Everything streams free on twitch.tv/pathofexile and the Path of Exile YouTube channel, and the keynote replay goes up on both shortly after it airs. The talks and panels follow later, with GGG saying all of the content will eventually be published.
Trailers and announcement pages go live mid-keynote, with Twitch Drops running
GGG is treating the keynote like one of its regular announcement livestreams: trailers and announcement pages publish as each reveal happens on stream, rather than in a single dump afterwards. Twitch Drops will run during the broadcast, with the rewards to be announced next week. For anyone planning to watch live, that is the reason to have the stream open rather than catch the replay.
What is riding on it: 1.0 is five weeks after the keynote
GGG confirmed at Gamescom that Path of Exile 2 leaves early access on December 11, 2026, free to play on PC, PS5 and Xbox. That puts the keynote five weeks before launch, which is the natural slot for the remaining campaign acts, the launch league and whatever is left of the class roster. Path of Exile 1’s next expansion is also due a reveal, since the first game has run on a league cadence throughout the sequel’s early access. GGG has not said what will be shown. The forum post lists no reveals, only the schedule, and the studio’s line on the announcements is that they arrive during the keynote itself.
Day two’s start time comes with the full schedule later this week. We will cover the keynote as it airs.
