Warner Bros. Games showed a new trailer for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight at Nintendo Direct September 2026, confirming the Nintendo Switch 2 version launches on September 18, 2026. Pre-orders are open now on the Nintendo eShop, according to the narration.
The trailer opens with Batman gliding over a night-time Gotham skyline before cutting to the Batmobile on a turntable in the Batcave, a brawl with a squad of goons on a stage hung with Joker banners, and a greenhouse full of oversized carnivorous plants. A later clip shows a timed bonus challenge in a neon-lit, graffiti-covered hideout, and Harley Quinn stepping up onto a red platform.
Nintendo’s narration describes an open-world game where you “explore the vast reaches of Gotham City, join forces with trusted allies and take down iconic DC supervillains,” and confirms two players can team up in local co-op. A caption on the co-op footage notes that additional accessories, sold separately, are required for multiplayer.
The Deluxe Edition includes the Mayhem Collection DLC, which is also sold as an upgrade from the Standard Edition. According to the narration, the DLC lets you “explore and customize the villainous hideout of the Joker and Harley Quinn.” No prices were shown for either edition, and the Direct only covered the Switch 2 version.
