Eternal Anima, a new RPG from Marvelous, was revealed at Nintendo Direct September 2026 with a release date of March 4, 2027 on Nintendo Switch 2.

The trailer opens on the wreck of a large wooden craft and a snow-dusted forest lit by shafts of light, then moves through a city of grey stone and domed towers seen from a high angle. The narration sets the premise: “There is just one rule in Urvis Ael, the only city that exists in this world. You must never strive for a better tomorrow.”

The hero is Wade, a soldier who, according to the narration, has “the power to relive mysterious memories”. A dialogue scene shows him asking robed figures on a circular plaza whether there is a world outside theirs. The narration says he discovers one and is branded a heretic for it. By inheriting the memories of the world he takes on the abilities of past heroes, and he can “peer into the future during combat” to sense and predict enemy actions.

Combat footage shows a turn-based system with a timeline of character portraits along the bottom of the screen, a BP gauge, and a command list for a party member named Mayaca that includes Pulse, Guard, Swift Pulse, Celerity and Frost. A tooltip reads “Can target the rearguard”. The narration also says the adventure “will extend back through time”.

The end card listed only Nintendo Switch 2 and March 4, 2027. No price was shown on screen.
