Capcom’s Mega Man: Dual Override is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch in spring 2027, according to a trailer shown at Nintendo Direct September 2026. The game was first revealed at Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026, so the news here is the Nintendo platforms and the window: the end card read “Available Spring 2027” with both Switch badges.

The trailer opens on a card reading “Team Up with a Familiar Ally” before cutting to side-scrolling stages: a bright city with giant robots in the background, a blue industrial interior, and a desert road under an orange sky. A caption notes the footage is from the Switch 2 version. One sequence shows Proto Man driving through enemies behind his shield. The narration introduced him as “the Wandering Warrior”, said the shield lets him “charge through bots with higher attack power”, and framed the pair as “two distinct play styles”.

A menu screen shows a grid of chip slots, including an empty one, described as custom chips that upgrade a character “with even more abilities”. Bosses wait at the end of each stage, and a new override form, shown as a glowing armour transformation, is the way to “unleash your full potential” against them.

A second card showed Mega Man and Proto Man amiibo figures, also marked “Available Spring 2027” and, per the narration, out the same day as the game. No exact date or price was given for the game or the figures.
