Krol’dok Stronghold is a new ogre dungeon in the Riverglades for World of Warcraft: Forever, shown by lead software engineer Nora Mills at the World of Warcraft: Forever What’s Next panel at BlizzCon 2026. The slide read “New Dungeons: Krol’dok Stronghold” over a rocky camp with ogre huts and spiked towers, an ogre standing at the left.

The stronghold was first named earlier in the panel as the Riverglades’ outdoor dungeon. Mills now gave it a level range and a story. “I don’t know why you would want to venture into a stronghold crawling with ogres, but if you’re into that sort of thing, I’ve got the opportunity for you,” she said. Outrunners “have been kidnapping folks,” and several attacks have been reported across the region.

“Sturdy adventurers in the level 40 to 55 range could potentially put up a fight and end the ogres’ mischief in the region,” Mills said. She added a warning: “In the twilight hours of the night, I’ve heard weird chanting coming from the place. Could it be cultists?”

The 40 to 55 range is the widest given for any dungeon at the panel so far; the stronghold was described earlier as an outdoor dungeon. No bosses or loot were named and no faction restriction was mentioned.
