World of Warcraft: Forever will ship with hundreds of new items, Lead Software Engineer Nora Mills said during the World of Warcraft: Forever What’s Next panel at BlizzCon 2026, “including all sorts of really fun and exciting on-use and on-equip effects.” A slide showed four examples, two new and two updated.
The Graverobber’s Shovel is a unique two-hand mace, 68 to 102 damage at 3.70 speed, with +10 Stamina, +12 Attack Power, and another +12 Attack Power against Undead. Its use effect digs up a grave at Raven Hill Cemetery and the Scarlet Monastery Graveyard on a two minute cooldown, with 20 charges, and it requires level 23. “For when you want to dig a grave,” Mills said. The Sharpened Cutlery is a thrown weapon, 18 to 35 damage with +1 weapon damage at level 19, which Mills joked she found backstage.
Existing items have been updated too. The Tidal Charm trinket now stuns a target for 3 seconds, or 5 seconds against naga while refunding 80 percent of its 15 minute cooldown. Whitemane’s Chapeau gains +10 Intellect, +9 Stamina, and +12 Spirit, increases healing done by up to 20 and damage by up to 7 for all spells, and cuts the cast time of resurrection spells by 20 percent.
Mills said tomorrow’s WoW Forever Deep Dive panel will go further into what she teased.
