World of Warcraft: The Last Titan is coming in 2027. The first teaser for the third chapter of the Worldsoul Saga ended with The Last Titan logo and then a single card reading 2027, shown on the BlizzCon 2026 Opening Ceremony stage right after game director Ion Hazzikostas introduced the footage.
That is the first release window Blizzard has put on the expansion since it was announced. The card gave only the year: no month, no season, and no pre-order or edition details appeared on screen.
Hazzikostas had said moments earlier that the full reveal has to wait until after Eclipse, Midnight’s Patch 12.2, because the details would spoil Midnight’s story. “Early next year, once we’re on the other side of Eclipse, we will have so much more information to share with you,” he said. A 2027 launch means that information push and the expansion itself land in the same year.
The teaser itself showed Northrend in a blizzard: ruined pillars in deep snow, a dark fortress of tall spires, and towers with lit windows in the whiteout. Zones, features, and a specific date are still unknown.
