Diablo IV is coming to Nintendo Switch 2. Diablo IV game director Joe Shely walked onto the BlizzCon 2026 Opening Ceremony stage holding a Switch 2 and announced that the Diablo IV Age of Hatred Collection arrives on the console on September 15, the same day Season 15, Season of Hell’s Legacy, begins.
“I’m excited to officially announce that the Diablo IV Age of Hatred Collection is coming to Nintendo Switch on September 15th alongside the Season of Hell’s Legacy,” Shely said. The stage screens showed the Nintendo Switch logo, then the Nintendo Switch 2 logo, with Diablo IV key art in the center.
Anyone at BlizzCon this weekend can play it early. “If you’re here at BlizzCon, you don’t have to wait. You can play the Nintendo Switch 2 demo on the show floor today,” Shely said.
The ceremony did not say what the Age of Hatred Collection contains, what it costs, or whether the original Nintendo Switch is included alongside the Switch 2. No footage of the Switch 2 version was shown on stage.
