Diablo Immortal is getting a Spawn crossover. A Diablo Immortal x Spawn card appeared on the stage screens during the Diablo segment of the BlizzCon 2026 Opening Ceremony, followed by a full-screen piece of Spawn comic art showing the character wrapped in chains and surrounded by demons.
The ceremony gave almost nothing else. “We’ve got a special collaboration to talk about. Tomorrow, you’ll hear all about it from the creator of Spawn himself, Todd McFarlane,” the presenters said, pointing to a session on the second day of the show.
The reveal came right after Blizzard mentioned a Diablo Immortal Tournament that attendees can enter on the Diablo show floor this weekend, and after Diablo IV game director Joe Shely announced the Diablo IV Age of Hatred Collection for Nintendo Switch 2.
No release date, no in-game footage, and no details on what the collaboration includes were shown on stage. Whether Spawn arrives as a playable character, a cosmetic set, or an event is still unknown until McFarlane’s appearance tomorrow.
Update: later in the same segment the presenter said Spawn comes to Diablo Immortal on September 29, with Todd McFarlane hosting a live panel and drawing session at BlizzCon tomorrow.
