The Amazon is coming to Diablo IV as a new class, announced on stage at BlizzCon 2026. The Amazon class pack arrives in the first half of 2027, according to the Diablo IV team.
The reveal used concept art rather than gameplay: the Amazon in red and gold armor with a winged helmet, a round shield, and a lightning-charged spear, fighting sea creatures on a rocky shore. The team said the class grew out of Lord of Hatred, the expansion that took players to the Skovos Isles earlier this year. “Almost immediately, one question started showing up everywhere. Where is the Amazon?”
The Amazon wields the bow and also brings a new weapon type to Diablo IV, the javelin. On stage the team described her as “this fearless fighter” who “moves with speed, precision, and an absolute control over the battlefield.”
The class is being sold as a class pack, not as part of a new expansion. No price was given and no gameplay footage was shown. The Diablo IV What’s Next panel tomorrow is set to go deeper into the Amazon’s gameplay, look, and feel, and will also premiere the Season of Hell’s Legacy gameplay trailer.
