Paul Kubit ran through a set of housing interface changes coming in patch 12.2 Eclipse at the World of Warcraft: Midnight What’s Next panel at BlizzCon 2026, starting with what he called “a commonly requested feature”: copy-paste and multi-select.
“You copy out a piece of decor and then paste the duplicate with the exact same properties as the original. Its size, its rotation, its dye, assuming you have copies of the decor and the dye to be able to paste it,” Kubit said. Multi-select lets you pick many items by click-dragging or holding a modifier key while clicking, then move or rotate them together around a single pivot point. His example was a grand piano built from 577 wooden planks that you could move from one room to another, or copy outright.
The second change removes vendor trips. “In Eclipse, as long as you already own one of the piece of decor, you could just buy more copies in your home, as if you were buying it from a vendor,” Kubit said. The slide listed the two items as Copy-paste & Multi-select and Buy more.
In a quick-hits section he added that housing gets four new endeavors in 12.2, including the Storm Riders of Isle of Dorn, shown with a screenshot of a rider on a pale blue winged mount. The other three were not named.
