Patch 12.2 Eclipse adds a new dungeon called Thraegar’s Stand, a three-boss dungeon that players pass through during the Eclipse campaign. Associate Game Director Paul Kubit showed it at the World of Warcraft: Midnight What’s Next panel at BlizzCon 2026 with a slide of a crystal-armoured Azerite elemental in a golden cavern.

The first encounter is a pair of bosses, Crag Cleaver and Foreman Sulk, both from the Deepskar Empire, the coalition of kobolds, troggs, drogbar and Niffen that occupies part of the Mantle Vault. The second is Monoc, a large Azerite elemental, and the last is a Titan construct Kubit called Stenvarg the Inevitable. Boss names are as spoken on stage; the slide only carried the dungeon name and the boss count.

Thraegar’s Stand will be part of the Season 3 Mythic Plus rotation, according to Kubit, who said more Season 3 information was coming later in the panel. The dungeon is named for the Thraegar, the crystalline, dwarf-like race players ally with in the zone.

No date for Eclipse or for Season 3 was given at this point in the panel.
