World of Warcraft: Forever adds three new ship routes, Evan, lead content designer on the World of Warcraft Classic team, said during the World of Warcraft: Forever Found Photographs panel at BlizzCon 2026. The team wanted to keep travel across the world part of the journey while opening up questing in new areas and social play, which he called “an incredibly important pillar for this project.”

The first route links Stormwind Harbor to Auberdine. “Humans and night elves, and you dwarves and gnomes in the audience who are Deeprun Tram enthusiasts, now you can rejoice,” Evan said, adding that friends can now play through the starting zones together without long trips or corpse runs to reach each other.

The second is a three-stop route that starts at Menethil, calls at Southshore, and ends in Auberdine. The third leaves from Steamwheedle on the eastern shore of Tanaris. “What has the Steamwheedle Cartel been up to? Are they expanding their operations?” Evan asked. “Perhaps this ship takes us to somewhere new.” A map slide then traced a dotted line from Kalimdor’s southeast coast to the east coast of the Eastern Kingdoms, and Evan moved straight on to the Riverglades, the new zone for the mid-30s to mid-40s.

The panel did not say whether any route is limited by faction or level.
