World of Warcraft: Forever is adding content to the original zones as well as its new ones, Evan, lead content designer on the World of Warcraft Classic team, said during the World of Warcraft: Forever Found Photographs panel at BlizzCon 2026. “Whether you’re starting your journey as an orc in the Valley of Trials or a night elf in Shadowglen, there’s something new just for you,” he said. New NPCs in the starting areas can offer quests, training, recipes, and professions, and the team added dozens of new quests, characters, and stories to the starting zones, with more in every zone.
The team also went back to zones like the Wetlands to build on the characters and stories already there “without disrupting what exists.” The Wetlands gets over 25 new quests and new leveling paths. Desolace gets new quests for a centaur faction, along with new rewards; Evan did not name the faction.
From the south of Desolace, players reach Shen’dralas through the Valley of Bones. Evan said the zone offers dozens of new quests about the history of Eldre’Thalas and its people. The Desolace slide showed a stone archway lined with spears and torches at the foot of a cliff.
No level ranges were given for the new Wetlands and Desolace quests.
