Forsaken Paladins in World of Warcraft: Forever pick up their story from Forsaken Kingdom, the new Warcraft III: Reforged campaign, Senior Game Designer Josh Greenfield said at the World of Warcraft: Forever Found Photographs panel at BlizzCon 2026. Without spoiling it, he said “there’s some direct connective tissue here that we will explore in WoW Forever.”

When Forever begins, Forsaken Paladins are “deeply mistrusted by the other Forsaken,” who know paladins mostly from the Scarlet Crusade. Channeling the Light is “almost maddeningly painful for the undead,” Greenfield said, and some risen paladins lash out at other Forsaken until they are put down. Players start with “an uphill battle” to win over the Forsaken and, by extension, Sylvanas.

Their base is Vandarian Keep in the Whispering Wood, a formerly unreachable part of northwestern Tirisfal Glades. Forsaken Paladins are sent there around level 10 and get most of their class quests from the keep. Both names were spoken, not printed on a slide, which showed a stone keep with a clock tower.

The keep’s paladins get their own steed, shown as a horse in black and gold barding, plus a level 60 epic mount quest. Alliance Paladins earn their charger in the name of redemption, Greenfield said; the Forsaken ride in the name of retribution.

The panel did not name trainers or mention reputation rules.
