Brad Chan laid out the story and cast of the main Forsaken Kingdom campaign at the Warcraft III: Reforged Forsaken Kingdom What’s Next panel at BlizzCon 2026. “Without getting into super spoilery territory, this is in essence a story of what does one have to do when they have to start over,” he said. “When they have literally lost everything and everyone. How do they adapt to a new home, a new family, community? How does one rebuild? Can they? This is who the Forsaken are.”
Chan said the campaign digs into the culture of the everyday Forsaken citizen: how the Undercity runs day to day and how it was built. “The more you play, the more you’ll discover what this Forsaken Kingdom is all about.”
Two new characters lead it. Chan introduced them as Garek Vandarian, a newly risen Forsaken warrior, and Dark Ranger Anya; the slide showed a masked, yellow-eyed human and a hooded, red-eyed elf but did not print their names. “We’ll follow them closely as we see the transformation of the Undercity as we know it today in WoW Classic,” Chan said.
Returning characters include Sylvanas, Putress and Varimathras as primary quest givers and NPCs, plus the Scarlet Crusade “at the height of their power” with Sally Whitemane and Renault Mograine. Chan also listed Death Knight Arthas, Kel’Thuzad, Ras Frostwhisper, Baron Rivendare and Naxxramas among the villains, and a second slide showed character models for Sylvanas, Varimathras, Whitemane, Kel’Thuzad and a Scarlet Crusade commander.
He closed the section with a tease: the Forsaken Paladin, the new WoW class, gets its origins told here. The panel had not yet given a mission count for the main campaign.
