Dotemu and Old Skull Games have released a new story trailer for Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Deathmaster, a stealth-focused 2D action platformer due in 2027 on PC, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5 and Xbox. The trailer was released on Warhammer Day, October 29, 2026, according to the publisher.

The game follows Vihneek, a Skaven prisoner who is freed by Skiteek, a fellow Eshin assassin from Clan Skrell. According to the publisher, his rescuer is also his new captor: Clan Skrell forces him to carry out deadly contracts, and every kill raises his standing within the clan.

Gameplay centers on stealth. Players spring traps, use their surroundings and slip past enemies undetected, or fight directly against foes ranging from cowering dregs to rat ogors. Dotemu describes the environments as dark, decaying spaces built around shadows that Vihneek can sneak through and strike from.

Dotemu, which publishes the game, is known for titles including Streets of Rage 4 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge. The game is being developed by Old Skull Games, an independent studio founded in 2012.
