Dionous Games and X Interactive have released the free Last Dream Update for Inner Voice, the first-person psychological horror-adventure. The update is live now on Steam and adds two new puzzles, more than ten new scares and a set of quality-of-life improvements.

You play as Booker, a man searching for his missing wife Diana in Brightstone, a decaying, dreamlike town. A mysterious voice guides and haunts him along the way. The game has no combat and relies on dread, grief and memory, with story-driven puzzles built into the environment.

Sale runs until November 2

Inner Voice normally costs €12.49 on Steam. It is currently 35% off there, bringing the price to €8.11, and the discount runs until November 2. The game is also sold on GOG and the Epic Games Store, which are not part of the sale.

According to the publisher, the update expands the exploration and puzzle-solving experience and adds “disturbing encounters and unexpected moments of terror” throughout the game. The developers describe the changes as refinements to the overall gameplay experience.

Inner Voice is the debut title from X Interactive, the independent studio of solo developer Nikos Chronopoulos. Dionous Games handles publishing.
