Deep Silver and KING Art Games have released a faction deep dive trailer for the Necrons in Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV, showcasing the ancient race’s gameplay mechanics and unit production system.

The Necrons expand their domain by restoring ancient structures and activating their Power Matrix to generate resources across the battlefield. The Tomb Citadel serves as their production hub for units. According to the developers, the faction relies on self-repairing legions, unyielding constructs, and ancient technologies to outlast their opponents rather than adapt to individual battles.

Dawn of War IV launches September 17, 2026, with Commander Edition early access starting September 14. Both editions are available to pre-order now at a 10% discount. Year One content includes free updates with Crusade Mode, new maps, modes, Commanders, and a Mission Editor, plus two major story expansions that will introduce a fourth playable faction.
