The segment’s footage was marked “work in progress” and showed a redesigned library with Recently Played and Recently Added rows, a dark and light theme option and a wall of game covers. GOG said the launcher “looks better and it runs faster,” and that users can customize their view and filter their games.

On-screen text invited viewers to sign up for a closed beta. The footage also displayed the new look on Linux, Mac and Windows side by side.

GOG did not give a release date for the Linux version or say when the closed beta starts.
