Acclaim has released Get That Acclaim SIX, a limited-time bundle of six games on Steam, priced under $50 (USD). The bundle is available on PC now, according to the publisher.
The lineup includes Pixel Washer, a newly released power-washing sim starring a pig with a power washer. It is joined by Katanaut, a bloody space station roguelike, and GRIDbeat!, a rhythm-based dungeon crawler about hacking a corporate network. The other three titles are Ground Zero Hero, an over-the-top autoshooter, The Prisoning: Fletcher’s Quest, a surreal microvania, and Basketball Classics, a 5-on-5 arcade hoops game in the style of 8-bit sports titles.
The bundle is marketed as a playful counterpoint to the upcoming GTA VI, with the publisher pitching it as six games playable today rather than a future release. A reveal trailer for the bundle is available on YouTube.
Acclaim’s catalog and the bundle’s pitch
Acclaim says the bundle is an independent promotional package and is not affiliated with any other publisher, developer or franchise. The company, founded in 1987, is known for Mortal Kombat, NBA Jam and Turok. According to the publisher, its current focus is on backing independent developers.
Marc Anthony Rodriguez, Director of Publishing & Strategic Partnerships at Acclaim, said the bundle is affordable and available immediately, with no console upgrade required.
