Devolver Digital and developer Francis Coulombe have released the survival horror RPG Look Outside on PlayStation and Nintendo consoles. The game is out now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 1 and Nintendo Switch 2 for $9.99.
The game first launched on PC last year. The console versions include the 1.5 and Final Vision updates, according to the publisher.
Survive a building full of cosmic horrors
Look Outside is set in a single apartment complex filled with unspeakable cosmic horrors. Players explore the building to find food, supplies and weapons, while encountering strange NPCs and fighting monsters that were once their neighbors.
Between trips outside, players return to their apartment to recuperate. Activities include playing games, making dinner and crafting tools, along with building relationships with the few allies they can find.
The publisher says the game holds an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on Steam. Critic quotes provided by the publisher describe it as “one of the scariest games I’ve ever played” and “disturbing, grotesque, and uncomfortably wonderful.”
