Studio Daimon has announced the voice cast for Food Devils, its tactical RPG roguelike, which launches on Steam on November 3. Console versions will follow later, according to the publisher.
The cast includes Amber Lee Connors as the Poison Devil, Rhiannon Moushall as the Vegan Devil, and Justice Washington as the Dessert Devil. Jenny Yokobori voices the Fisher Devil, Phil Sterman the Hunter Devil, and Hayden Daviau plays Chef Pralina. Samuel Drake voices Chef Panforte, and Marissa Lenti plays Cura.
A restaurant in a post-apocalyptic world
Players are the last chef in a post-apocalyptic world, using monstrous food to attract adventurers. Recruited adventurers sign contracts with the restaurant, then go on expeditions to collect ingredients that keep the business growing.
The game combines roguelite runs with tactical RPG elements. Players can customize both their restaurant and their characters, and the publisher says each of the four biomes has its own monsters, loot and rare ingredients. Between runs, the game includes romance options, with players able to romance any of the Food Devils or pair two of them together, according to the press release.
