Log into Helldivers 2 this weekend and the bridge is hung with Liberty Day banners, the main deck has a star-spangled carpet running to a flag-draped stage, there is a snack table with a “Freedom” crate and party cups by the armoury, and Super Earth has pinned its official agenda for the day to the wall. A dispatch greets you on arrival: “Your mandatory attendance has been recorded and your officially sanctioned gift will be rewarded and in your inventory at 23:59 Prosperity City Time. Happy Liberty Day!”

The tour below was posted to the Helldivers subreddit on Saturday evening by u/warbrand2, titled, pointedly, “For those who can’t log in”. The bridge window carries a Liberty Day banner over the city below and a blue star-field drape, the Ship Master stands beside a Liberty Day sign, and the walkway down the middle of the deck has become a blue carpet of stars leading to a stage under the holographic globe. The Stratagem Hero cabinet is dressed to match, the crew have left a table of drinks and a “Freedom” crate out, and the whole thing is lit for a parade.

Super Earth’s Event Highlights poster for Liberty Day 2186 reads like a Ministry of Truth press release. Strohmann News coverage live from the Wall of Martyrs at 06:00. Dissident executions “brought to you by Eagle Sweat” at 07:00. The Liberty Day parade at 09:00, with the President’s speech and General Brasch inflatables. An orbital bombardment of the moon at 13:00, “over 15,000 megatons of ordnance”. A synchronized salute and oath of citizenship at 16:00, attendance mandatory. The Super Earth’s Next Top Helldiver finale at 19:00, surprise dissident executions at 20:00 with “audience participation encouraged”, and the premiere of General Brasch’s film “Automatons Now 2” at 21:00. For your kids: a Liberty Day pyre, Whack-A-Terminid and Adopt-A-SEAF.
The gift lands Monday night, and the decorations go back at the end of the day
The decorations arrive alongside the Liberty Day gift we covered on Saturday: the AR-23L Liberator, going to every account that has been online in the 30 days before October 26 at 23:59 CET, 6:59pm Eastern on Monday. The in-game dispatch matches that timing in Super Earth’s own clock. It also asks players to “please return these at the end of the day or risk sanctions”, so the dressed ship is a one-day affair. Arrowhead has attached no Major Order this year, unlike 2024’s Constitution rifle, so there is nothing to grind, only a ship to see and a login to make.
