Koda Games has released a new gameplay trailer for Fat Goblins, a 32-player class-based capture-the-flag game that enters Steam Early Access on November 12 on PC. The footage shows teams of goblins fighting across medieval maps, with the trailer available on YouTube.

The game is described as a spiritual successor to Fat Princess, the PS3-era title. According to the publisher, Fat Goblins combines cartoonish capture-the-flag combat with comedic mechanics, including hat-based class changes. Players take on an army of goblins who must rescue their royalty from the enemy fortress while also stealing the opposing team’s princess back to their own castle.

The developer describes the combat as chaotic, with teams trying to turn the enemy into a bloody mess, or to feed defeated enemies to a captive princess to make her harder to rescue.

Fat Goblins launches into Early Access on November 12 on PC via Steam.
