Deep Silver and KING Art Games revealed a new faction trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV, showcasing the Space Marines with two playable chapters—the Blood Ravens and the Dark Angels.
The Blood Ravens favor reconnaissance and infiltration, operating behind enemy lines to gather intelligence. They’re led by Captain Cyrus, who specializes in stealth, marksmanship, and air strikes. The Dark Angels embrace head-on assaults with heavily armored formations, commanded by Company Master Astoran in Terminator armor.
According to the developers, the Space Marines rely on steady expansion and powerful shock assaults to disrupt enemies, compensating for smaller numbers through careful positioning and tactical flexibility. Players can deploy Drop Pods, call down Orbital Bombardments, and command elite units across the battlefield.
Dawn of War IV launches on PC December 3, 2026. Commander Edition players get early access starting November 30 through a three-day early unlock. Both editions are available to pre-order now with a 10% discount.
The publisher confirmed Year One will include free updates featuring Crusade Mode’s return, new maps, modes, Commanders, and a Mission Editor, alongside two major story expansions that introduce a new playable faction.
