Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV will launch on December 3, 2026, developer KING Art Games announced. Commander Edition players will gain early access three days earlier, on November 30.
The delay allows the studio more time to optimize performance, fix bugs, and polish the experience before release. Creative Director Jan Theysen said the additional time would ensure “players have the best possible experience from day one.”
Both editions are available to pre-order now with a 10% discount. The game is coming to PC via Steam.
Throughout Year One, KING Art Games plans to roll out free updates including the return of Crusade Mode, new maps, modes, and the Mission Editor. Two major story expansions will also launch over the year, introducing a new playable faction to the conflict on Kronus. Release dates for post-launch content will be announced later.
