Developers Splashteam and publisher Dotemu have released a new trailer for Acornia: Mirror Worlds, a dungeon crawler and shop-management action-adventure due next year on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.

The game puts players in the paws of Alva, a patisserie shopkeeper whose village has been overtaken by corruption. The influence has driven most of the town’s inhabitants away and pulled parts of her home into a dangerous alternate dimension called Duramen, and Alva has to fix it.

The trailer focuses on three parts of the game: shop management, baking and farming, and the dungeon combat Alva uses her baked goods for. According to the studio, some of those treats double as weapons, with a cupcake doubling as a projectile.

Splashteam is known for Tinykin, and Dotemu has published MARVEL Cosmic Invasion and Absolum. Acornia: Mirror Worlds is available to wishlist on Steam.
