Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Encore Edition is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5, 2026 for $39.99. The port includes the full base game with all previously released digital content, plus five exclusive outfits for each Guardian inspired by 1980s glam rock.
The Switch 2 version features mouse control support using the console’s built-in mouse for menus and aiming, and gyroscope motion support to tilt the controller for steering the Milano or moving Peter during zero gravity sequences. The game supports TV mode, tabletop mode, and handheld mode.
Eidos-Montréal developed the Switch 2 version internally. The studio says it aimed to ensure the game feels at home whether played on a TV or handheld. The Encore Edition also features 50 in-game outfits to unlock and experiment with, plus a soundtrack of more than 30 classic ’80s hits.
