MARVEL Cosmic Invasion: The Siege of Castle Doom arrives November 10 on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The premium DLC expansion introduces Doctor Doom and The Invisible Woman as playable characters alongside a new Doctor Doom-centered game mode.
Developer Tribute Games and publisher Dotemu announced the news at New York Comic Con with a surprise trailer. The Invisible Woman brings force field manipulation and light-bending abilities to the tag-team co-op brawler, while Doctor Doom relies on high-powered armor, occult skills and his intellect. The new game mode will center on the villain and his castle headquarters, though full details on its gameplay remain unrevealed.
MARVEL Cosmic Invasion’s existing roster includes 17 playable heroes using the Cosmic Swap system to tag between duos mid-fight. According to the publisher, the game has been played by more than 1.5 million players since launch. Tribute Games and Dotemu previously collaborated on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge.
