Dotemu and Tribute Games announced The Siege of Castle Doom, premium DLC for MARVEL Cosmic Invasion arriving Fall 2026 on PC, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
The expansion centers on Doctor Doom and introduces a new game mode alongside two new playable characters. The studio has not detailed which characters will join the roster or specifics of the new mode.
MARVEL Cosmic Invasion is a tag-team co-op beat ’em up with a roster of 17 playable heroes. The game uses a “Cosmic Swap” system that lets players switch between two characters mid-fight. According to the studio, the game has reached over 1.5 million players since its release and was nominated for a D.I.C.E. Award.
Dotemu and Tribute Games previously collaborated on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, a brawler that reached multi-million sales.
