Gameloft gave a first look at the first three free updates coming to Disney Dreamlight Valley in 2027 at the Disney Dreamlight Valley 2026 Showcase. The roadmap names a season for each update and describes it with a one-line clue rather than a character list.
“I’m delighted to show a first glimpse of what’s coming in the first three updates of 2027,” a Gameloft presenter said, adding that “each update will come with their own delightful Star Path and exceptional surprise.”
Early 2027: two princes
The first card reads “A new era of royalty begins with the arrival of two princes.” Its artwork shows a pale blue castle among glowing willow trees, a pumpkin-shaped carriage, a guitar, and a small green frog sitting on a rock beside a pond with lily pads.
Spring 2027: a villainous duo
The second card reads “Get your groove on with an iconic villainous duo.” The image shows a dark stone lab with shelves of red potion bottles, a plate of food on a counter, and a glowing green orb. The wording and the setting read to us like a nod to The Emperor’s New Groove, but Gameloft did not name anyone.
Summer 2027: an unexpected adventurer
The third card reads “Realize the lifelong dream of an unexpected adventurer.” On stage, the presenter added that the adventurer arrives “along with his canine companion.” The artwork shows a colorful house lifted by a large bunch of balloons, with a tennis ball on the lawn, which reads to us like Up.
The hosts said they enjoy seeing players guess who is coming next from these roadmaps, and called 2027 “a big year for the game.” All three updates are free.
Gameloft did not confirm which characters arrive in any of the three updates, and gave seasons rather than dates.
