Gameloft dated Disney Dreamlight Valley’s next free update at the Disney Dreamlight Valley 2026 Showcase: ʻOhana Holidays releases on December 9, 2026, and brings Lilo back together with Stitch in the valley.
The update was first teased at D23 earlier this year, and the game’s creative director picked up that thread on the stream. “Fans won’t have to wait too long to reunite Lilo from Disney’s Lilo and Stitch with Stitch,” he said, adding that “Lilo arrives in the valley bringing with her a feeling of warmth and joy to the winter season.”
What the trailer showed
The footage is set outside a round, white beach house with a red domed roof and a surfboard by the door. A decorated Christmas tree, wrapped presents and red gift sacks sit in the sand next to a deck chair, under palm trees. Stitch plays a ukulele while Lilo dances, and in a later shot the player character takes a selfie with the pair behind them.
Story, quests and a Star Path
According to Gameloft, ʻOhana Holidays adds seasonal holiday content, a new storyline and Friendship Quests. On stream, the pitch was to “uncover all the trouble Lilo and Stitch get up to once they’re reunited in the valley and celebrate the holidays with a special surprise that players won’t want to miss.”
The update also comes with a new Star Path, which the creative director described as having “a quirky take on the holiday celebrations.” He stopped there: “That’s all I’m going to say for now, so stay tuned to learn more.”
ʻOhana Holidays is a free update, separate from the paid The Keepsake Sea expansion that arrives on November 18. It lands three weeks after the expansion and closes out the game’s 2026 schedule. The stream then moved straight on to a first look at three free updates planned for the first half of 2027.

Gameloft did not say what the “special surprise” is, what the new Star Path contains, or whether Lilo moves in as a full villager with her own house. The trailer did not list platforms for the update.
